For regular items from our catalogue – Masterpieces editions, Editions in the standard sizes offered, facsimiles and print-on-demand books – you as a consumer have a statutory right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal instructions
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. Where several goods ordered in one order are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you acquire possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Roland A. Schwarz, Bismarckstraße 52, 70197 Stuttgart, august.a.mond@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and that are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal requirements (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB). For us this concerns commissioned works and items made to individual customer specifications (such as custom sizes outside the standard range). For these products we point out separately, before the contract is concluded, that no right of withdrawal exists.
Irrespective of the right of withdrawal, the statutory warranty rights apply to all products. Should an item arrive damaged or defective, please contact us promptly at august.a.mond@gmail.com and, if possible, include photos of the damage and the packaging. We will then arrange a replacement or refund. This applies also to custom-made items that are excluded from withdrawal.
Please send returns and notices of defects to the contact details given in section 1. We will provide the return address and process the refund using your original means of payment. Refunds are made within the statutory periods (see section 2).
All prices are final prices. As a small business under § 19 UStG, we do not show VAT. The shipping costs stated in each case are added to the prices. Payment is processed via our checkout provider (Snipcart) and the payment service provider (Stripe).
We deliver to the countries listed in section 9. Our products are made to order; the processing and delivery time is usually 7 to 21 days. Editions are printed and shipped by our production and shipping partner Prodigi, the Masterpieces by WhiteWall (Avenso GmbH).
These terms apply to deliveries to the countries offered by us at checkout. The list of countries is aligned with our shipping and product settings.
